PDI म्हणजे काय?

Pre-Delivery Inspection म्हणजे delivery घेण्यापूर्वी vehicle ची basic physical condition आणि supplied items तपासण्याची प्रक्रिया. हे authorised workshop मधील complete mechanical diagnosis किंवा independent legal inspection चे replacement नाही.

Exterior check

Body panels, paint finish, scratches, dents, panel alignment, glass, mirrors, lights आणि trims नीट पहा. Bright daylight किंवा योग्य lighting मध्ये visual inspection अधिक उपयोगी ठरते.

Tyres आणि wheels

Tyre size, visible damage, manufacturing information, wheel condition आणि spare/repair kit तपासा. Delivery पूर्वी tyre pressure योग्य आहे का हे dealer कडून verify करून घ्या.

Interior

Seats, dashboard, screens, switches, AC controls, carpets, roof lining आणि interior trims तपासा. New vehicle मध्ये scratches, stains किंवा missing protective pieces असल्यास delivery पूर्वी note करा.

Accessories

Floor mats, mud flaps, camera, sensors, infotainment accessories किंवा dealer-fitted items quotation शी match होतात का पहा. प्रत्येक accessory ची fitment आणि operation तपासा.

Documents

Invoice, insurance, registration-related documents, warranty booklet/digital record, service schedule आणि manuals यांची माहिती verify करा. Exact documentation vehicle/state/dealer process नुसार बदलू शकते.

PDI record

Visible defect आढळल्यास photo/video आणि written acknowledgement मागणे उपयोगी ठरते. “नंतर पाहू” अशा verbal assurance पेक्षा documented record अधिक स्पष्ट राहतो.
